Market House Reading wedding Photography - Chris and Jack
February 15th 2020 and Storm Dennis was in full force! Chris and Jack found me through a google search for wedding photographers in Berkshire , they loved my style and approach to documentary wedding photography!
The Market House, historically Lloyds bank which has been restored and transformed into a unique, urban and unforgettable space. What makes Market House so cool for a wedding venue is that the old bank vault is still there and thats where the wedding breakfast takes place, the original vault door is still there! This was also the first ever wedding at the Market House so it made it even more special!
Chris and Jack Both got ready separately at the Market house and were due to walk up to the Reading museum together where their ceremony was taking place infront of all their family and friends, so it was a great opportunity for Chris and Jack to have a first look which we arranged in a separate bar on the roof top terrace at the Market House! Chris and Jack's walk up to Reading museum was an interesting one, storm Dennis was raging and at one point turned their umbrellas inside out , a wonderful moment I caught on camera and it also won a documentary photography award with Ninedots , which is a great achievement!
Following the ceremony we covered the inside of Reading museum with confetti and it was was too windy outside , we then made a quick get away back to the safety of the Market house where a great celebration was had!
