Best of , maybe it should say highlights? All I can say is that it was so very difficult, out of the 10's of thousands of photographs I took across the 47 weddings I captured last year, to decide what to include in this 2018 wedding photography round up.
The year really did flash by in the blink of an eye, my first year in the big wide world all on my own without another income as back up! My first full year as a full time photographer, scary as hell, but very fun all the same!
We saw the Beast from the East, twice! which resulted in capturing the most amazing snow shots and one of the hottest Summers on record! The Sun was relentless for weeks on end!
The beauty of doing these "best of" round up's is going back through all of the stunning weddings that I was fortunate enough to photograph!
I got to visit lots of new stunning wedding venues including Rivervale Barn where I got to capture their very 1st outdoor wedding ceremony and Hunstile Organic Farm in Somerset which included a hill top ceremony! I also got to revisit some local favourites including Pitt Hall barn , The Great House in Sonning and The Vineyard at Stockcross and not forgetting Shaw House, the stunning building that houses Newbury's registry office!
As well as weddings, I have also taken my corporate photography to new heights! Injecting the way I capture weddings into my corporate event photography , documenting these events in a creative way has been a real hit with event planners and businesses alike.
Looking ahead to 2019, I have decided to reduce the amount of weddings I will be photographing , 47 weddings is no mean feat and I want to be able devote more time to each wedding. 2019 is pretty much fully booked with only a few spaces available and 2020 is booking up quickly too!
Finally I want to thank each and every couple who entrusted me to document their wedding day and to everyone that continues to recommend me to all of their friends and family, thank you, thank you , thank you! It means the world that you love my work enough to pass on my details!
So , here follows a selection of 150 stand out moments from 2018, enjoy!
