As a Berkshire based wedding photographer it's always nice to be contacted from wedding couples who are further a field. Oh my! The Cotswolds , and in particular , Stow-on-the-Wold , is very beautiful, I mean , all those fabulous buildings made out of Cotswold stone, so very pretty!
Alison and Mike contacted me after seeing one of my blog posts of a wedding where it rained all day, and knowing that their wedding was in March and the weather is unpredictable, my style and coverage of the day caught their eye.
On that day in March at Hyde House we didn't get rain it, did however blow a hooley all day, to the point where we attempted a group photo outside and Alison's veil blew 30ft in the air, and yes, there is photographic evidence (see below)
Hyde House and Hyde Barn is so very well thought out as a wedding venue! Bridal preparations all taking place upstairs in the most amazing light and airy room, with tons of space and seated areas with mirrors for hair and make up. Downstairs the ceremony room, again with full length windows a lots of lovely light pouting in, and then into the main barn which all ready set and good to go for the wedding breakfast! not forgetting the beautifully lit arbor in the gardens, which made for some epic night time portraits!
I had the most amazing day full of laughter and fun with such lovely guests, it's like a job, only different!
