Stokes Farm Barn really is a hidden gem in the Berkshire countryside! Set within its own surroundings on this working farm in Wokingham and a fabulous lake made for some really stunning wedding photos for Natasha and Alex's wedding day!
I arrived at the family home where Natasha was raised by her lovely patents Michael and Ellen to capture bridal preparations , I used to work with Michael in previous years before my life as a wedding photographer! We have travelled the world together to locations such as Hong Kong , Mexico City , New York and have even shared a cabin on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship around Ibiza! All while setting up and running corporate events for major blue chip companies, many stories of travels to be told and some great memories too!
This was my first outing to Stokes Farm Barn and as a Newbury based wedding photographer it was just a short trip up the M4 on one of the hottest days of the year so far. It was a pleasant surprise to see my good friends from Rusty and Roses providing the transport for the day, Rusty is the most wonderful VW camper van and its always nice to get some shots of the Bridal party with this epic vehicle.
So many lovely places to get photos around the farm and the lake was so vibrant , even the geese managed to photobomb one of our shots! The day ended with the most amazing sunset , mother nature certainly came put to play in the evening with the most incredible colours and cloud formations!
