I grew up as a child living just over a mile a way from Silchester house in Silchester when i lived in Pamber Heath. I used to go there to watch the grand firework displays on Bonfire night! Never in my wildest dreams did i even begin to imagine that i would one day be lucky enough to photograph a wedding there!
This was my first outing to Silchester House, as a Newbury Berkshire Wedding Photographer this has always been on my radar as a venue that i would love to be able to capture a wedding at, a goal ticked off my bucket list of wedding venue's!
Now, Jennifer and Steve are both incredibly gorgeous and have the most handsome little son Charlie which did make shooting their wedding at Silchester House even more of a joy, there was however one stand alone moment for me, over everything else that was amazing that day, and that was Jennifer's hair stylist! you see, the young man in question only has one hand, yet he carried on regardless , smiling away , making this beautiful young lady look her very best on her wedding day! So this for me, without a doubt was the most inspirational wedding i have ever shot! What an incredible human being!
Silchester house is a victorian mansion house located on the Berkshire/ Hampshire border and is a premium wedding venue run by Bijou Weddings, it's easy to see why, a beautifully kept House and perfectly landscaped gardens make for the perfect wedding day!
Here is Jennifer and Steve's story as it unfolded on a very warm Summer's day back in July!
