FAQ
FAQ

Are you a full time wedding photographer?

Yes, I most certainly am! Wedding photography is my profession and passion, this means that each and every wedding that I capture gets my full attention! I don’t use weddings to supplement another income or treat it as a side project. I have been a professional wedding photographer for 10 years and have captured over 300 amazing weddings!

Will you be the one photographing my wedding?

Absolutely, I do all of the editing and album design too. All the images on my website were taken by me, at real weddings! None of the images on my website were taken at training or portfolio building days.

Do you recommend having a second photographer?

All of the galleries and images you see on my website were captured by myself without the need of a second photogpraher! Sometimes i feel a second photographer can get in the way and your day becomes more of a photoshoot and your guests will be more aware of a second photographer! Of course if you feel you would like groom preparation covered all morning or some different angles from the day,  then thats totally cool too!

Do you photograph group photos?

I certainly do photograph family group photos and typically suggest around 8-10 family and bridal party group photos as a maximum to give you the most amount of time possible to enjoy your day with your family and guests.

What if our day overruns or the timings dont go to schedule?

These things happen, and are not for you to worry about. I stay until the job is done, You just relax and enjoy your day!

What if you are sick on our wedding day?

It would take something quite drastic to keep me from photographing your wedding day, if there are reasons beyond my absolute control i am part of a great network of photographers and a suitable replacement will be found to capture your day, and i will then take over the edit and final delivery of images so they still have the same look as the photographs you see on my website.

How long do you stay?

For full day coverage I typically arrive about 2-3 hrs before the ceremony to photograph the bridal preparations, and going through to approx 1hr after the first dance, if the party is really rocking i tend to stay a little later, at no extra cost!

How much work is involved in photographing my wedding?

From initial contact through to completion of finished images and albums,  Approx 40 – 45 hrs work.

Can we see a full wedding gallery

Yes, absolutley! What you see on my social media and in my wedding story posts doesnt fully represent what an entire wedding day can look like, please do ask to see some full wedding galleries so that you can see exactly what is received after your wedding day!

How long will it take to receive our photographs?

I like to have your finished images back with you within 4-5 weeks of your wedding date.

How do we receive the photographs?

You will receive your images in 2 ways - all the edited photographs and slideshow will be supplied in a personalised wooden box on a USB drive, you will also receive a password protected online gallery to share with your family and friends who can download and print images as they wish,  images are watermark free and have full print and sharing rights.

How do you describe your photographic style?

My style of photography lends itself to a variety of styles. I like to capture the day as naturally as possible as it unfolds in a documentary style, I will of course take some group photo's but these will be captured quickly and efficiently. I will then take you both off for around 20 minutes to get some stunning portraits together, these will be in both a natural and high end fashion style!

Are you insured?

I certainly am, for your peace of mind, as well as mine. Full public liabilty and professional indemnity insurance, as well as all of my equipment.

Our wedding is very small, can you still cover this?

Absolutely,  I have covered elopement weddings from as little as 2 people and intimate weddings with 15 people , so please do get in touch, and we can talk about costings for this.

We are having our wedding in another country, can you join us?

Yes,Yes and Yes! I adore destination weddings and I have a fully up to date passport, I am well travelled and my wife and I also got married on distant shores! it was amazing!

Can we meet you before the wedding?

Yes, I love to meet all my couples where possible before their wedding to go through the details of the day.  If this is not possible due to distances, then I will always be available by phone, or skype.

Do we need to feed you?

I never say no to food! however I also understand the costs involved on a wedding day , so if there's a main course or a bar snack available it would be very much appreciated, if not, no problem!

How do we book you?

I ask for a £300 booking deposit to secure your wedding date and a completed booking form! please do contact me to tell me all about your wedding plans and to check availabilty

If there is anything I have missed or if you have a burning question , please do not hesiate to contact me
