My working life started in the Audio Visual Live Event industry 17 years ago, travelling the world running conference productions for major Blue Chip companies in locations such as Hong Kong, New York, Mexico and all across Europe! Sounds glamorous i know, but with a young family at home there needed to be a change.
Some things were meant to be, like a new chapter in your life that was just about to be opened!
6 years ago, without even owning a camera, I was asked if i would like to photograph my parents friends wedding! Did i mention that i didn't own a camera? Yikes!
Challenge accepted! I purchased a camera, learnt how to use it inside and out, studied techniques, lighting , posing and everything that a wedding day could throw at me! Here i am now , capturing 30+ weddings a year and loving every single moment of it!
Some people say i have a natural talent, i call it hard work, determination and passion!
A little bit more about me
LOCATION: Newbury, Berkshire. Although i am very well travelled, and will travel the world for a wedding!
MARITAL STATUS: I first met Stacey 20 years ago and we married on the warm shores of the Dominican Republic 15 years ago! In April this year, on our 15th wedding anniversary we renewed our wedding vows!
CHILDREN: Megan is 16 years old , tall and beautiful like her mum! Max is 14 years old, rides a stunt scooter and is handsome like his dad, obviously!
and not forgetting Daisy, our 2 year old chocolate Cockapoo! She's a little bit crazy, and fluffy like a teddy bear!
FAVOURITE HOLIDAY LOCATION: Dubai, such an incredible and fascinating location!
FAVOURITE PART OF A WEDDING: I love the speeches, i will pretty much always shed a tear during the speeches!
HOBBIES: I love to fly my drone (DJI Phantom 3 advanced) and capture images from the air, putting a different perspective on things! Perhaps this year i will apply for my commercial license and turn it into a business, but for now, it's my escape, to create something for my own pleasure!
Everybody has a story to tell and i would love to tell yours!
